This is a very old thing. My mother made the weave while she was 6 months pregnant with me. She had to sit on the floor and make it, because her stomach was so big. So it is 21 years old.

Anyways, I own it now. She told me, that she was trying to go for a look like infrared, but she wanted to make it using only left over string in her drawers. Well, not string, more like strips of cloth.

My grandmother doesnt like it, says it is like looking at a naked woman. I disagree.

I am currently trying to get it framed, since it was originally on a wooden frame.

Edit: My mother saw it and commented on when she made it.
