Description
My first pet portrait of my own dog Phonse.
This was done several years ago.
Phonse was a special dog, one of a kind and irreplaceable.
I miss him so very much.
He was a whopping 60kg gentle giant, he loved, protected and nurtured all small dogs whom he thought were puppies (even if they were older than him!)
He would try and roll them over with his nose to wash their bums. Older dogs really would be quite puzzled about this! haha.
He was very protective over me too.
When we went walking people used to cross the road I guess because of his enormous size!
He was so very well behaved, knowing, and intelligent..
an old soul.
Although this is done in pencil I photocopied the original I drew and this makes the pencil look more like pen work.
