Wow, I haven't made one of these for years! If you remember me as the GlueArbiter or Dracotic, you may recognize my past works with glue. I had a long bout of art block and hopefully, I'm back on it!Done for an art trade on a forum for Deebles who coincidentally owns this dragon named Deebles.
Materials used:
*Wire and tin foil armature/base.
*Layers of hot glue.
*Canvas and feathers for wings.
*Acrylic and Enamel paints.
*Black foam for leather necklace.
*Gold wire for bangles.
This is an ornament and hangs!
I'm not sure if I've busted through my art block completely, things are still very slow but I've been lucky to have my fantastic Fiance for motivation. I may be opening up for commissions some time in the near future. I could really use the money!

Quite a sight. It looks to me as though the wings are supposed to be feathers? If that is the case I think it would have been even better if you had bought some colored feathers. They shouldn't be very expensive.

I had purchased some to layer onto the wing but unfortunately the pack I purchased was multicolored and multi sized. I was not able to find feathers in the uniform color I needed nor all the sizes I needed to fashion a proper wing. It was my original intention though. Instead I was able to paint on canvas and glue some plush feathers to it.

Ah that is really unfortunate. The result doesn't suffer too much from that change in plans though.

I've been tempted to try my hand at a hot glue sculpture. Did you need to prep the hot glue with a sealer before painting?

Thanks! I've not used a dealer prior to painting but I do seal the paint job after with either a clear spray or lacquer.

The colours are amazing, so pretty! Love how you've sculpted the feet.
Your glue sculptures are neat, the anatomy has a nice form to it!
