Description Ok, so this one took me more than I expected, first because I suck at drawing horses, and it seems I suck even more at drawing fearling-horses. And also because Pitch's expressions are also really hard to get right! I even had to make a little study on them untill I got satisfied.
Anyways, at least it's finished.

This is about his fanfiction in which Pitch kindaps Jamie and takes him down to his lair and Jack Frost and the rest of The Gaurdines go toe Boy rescue.  I didn't draw the rest, tho xP

Oh my!! that's really scary!! well done!

the expressions are really spot on!! and the coloring is great! (only thing maybe it is the night-mares I'd have imagined a bit darker, aside from that 'tis perfect! )

Thanks! Yeah, ppl keep pointing out the horses' clear color. That was an adjustment "mistake" but I liked it so I left it like that.

Not sure yet, you see, I'm having this long trip in a couple of weeks (atually I've been rarely at home these past two years. Family stuff) and when I'm off I can't really draw anything, that's mostly why I almost never update, BUT the good news is that I will be in some sort of vacation in like two months so... maybe then I will finish your pictures

And I think understand you...I've been drawing some nigh-mares lately and personally I found it a bit annoying that after all the carfeul drawing

I had to go and cover it all in black...

It's ok, no need to say sorry ^^. Nightmare horses are black so I understand why people keep pointing it out. Next time I'll try to use... I don't know... a clearer background instead, so that the horses are more visible. Before the adjustment it was hard to distinguish them, so that's why I liked the new color.

Like...canon is fine, but art is art and we're free to take ours liberties I think!

ahh that's a smart idea actually!! haha I know nothing of coloring techniques!

Whenever I draw I just think black and White..then I go on to color and I realize I just screwed myself!! XD

I suggest that the next time you draw fearling horses, you should use darker colours - they look a bit too dreamsand than nightmaresand to me. But other than that, this looks fantastic - especially the expressions! It scares the crap out of me.

I did use darker colors but when I adjusted the color balance they turned out like that. I didn't mind it, and actually liked their new look because I could see their shape a lot better against the dark background.

I like this a lot!! I think Pitch's expression is great. The horses are a little thicker than they should be, but horses are extremely hard to draw!

Those annoying horses! I drew them like fifteen times, and I'm not exaggerating

At the end I was just like, "whatever... I'll become good at drawing them later"


Maybe I shoud do a serious study on them too.

I've been drawing horses for forever (horse obsession that started at birth and won't ever end) and I still have a lot of problems with them! When I look at horse art the most common mistakes are: neck is too thick, legs are disproportionate, and face is too long or too short. Your horses honestly aren't bad they're just thick You have all the proportions right and the faces look awesome. Anyway they're nightmare horses so they can look like whatever they feel like
