I got bored. Then Ataeru was born. c:

Personality: She is like Scar; as a cub, she had befriended a young lioness, and called the lioness her 'hench-lioness', meaning she had to do whatever Ataeru told her to do. Ataeru has a twisted mind, and a cold heart. Kovu hated her, her mother hated her, and she returned the hate with a passion. She didn't wish to turn out the way she was, but she blamed everything on her parents. Some say that Scar or Zira had possessed her. Others say that Ataeru was born to be a "second Scar."
History/Bio: *Please note what you are about to read has some violence, though it is nothing too bad. But if you do not like violence whatsoever, do not read Ataeru's history.*

An accident. An accident is all Ataeru's mother thought of her. Kovu sought her as a cub that was never supposed to exist. They both thought the same, but with different minds. Ataeru was weak, scrawny, and furthermore, she was a disgrace to both of her parents. Especially Kovu. He couldn't stand to look at that.. that thing. "Kill it, and let it be with the Great Kings. Bash its head, throw it in a river, I don't care what you possibly do to it, just get it out of my sight." The sentence Kovu spoke, didn't sound like something Kovu would say at all. But the cub had taken its toll on him. "I have a heir of my OWN; this thing would never cut it, even Kiara would agree with me." Ataeru's mother stayed silent.

"I want you, and that wretched little horror, out of these lands by tomorrow morning; Kiara mustn't hear or know of this, understand?" Kovu's voice slightly lightened at the end of his sentence. Ataeru's mother nodded, "As you wish, my King. I will leave tomorrow morning, with my daughter." Kovu looked at the cub, "I've already named it; her name is Ataeru. Her name means 'end.' And her name shall not change, not even the slightest. As she grows, her name will follow her." And that was all Kovu had to say, and he left.

The next morning, the lioness and Ataeru left. The mother was disgusted with her daughter, but she couldn't do much about it. She thought about killing her, but she couldn't bring herself to do it. Even though she thought the cub was a mistake, she denied anything to do with loving Ataeru.

Growing up as a cub was tough for Ataeru, especially since her mother hated her, and no other pridemember wanted anything to do with her. And her mother hated her even more once Ataeru had opened her eyes; they were green. They weren't the color of Kovu's eyes; they were Scar's eyes. This puzzled her so. She wasn't related to Simba, so how could the cub get Scar's eyes? She then snapped out of it, noting that she hated the cub, and couldn't care less.

Her mother lashed out at her every so often. One of Ataeru's mother's lashings had gotten too out of hands, and she unsheathed her claws, and scratched Ataeru atop her nose, and across her left shoulder. Ataeru began hating her mother beforehand, but this time, Ataeru was infuriated, not even the slightest bit saddened. This is when Ataeru's hate towards her family had taken its fall downhill.

Ataeru had managed to befriend one of the pridemembers in the pride. She was rebellious. Ataeru called her a 'hench-lioness', and stated she had to do whatever she said. The lioness agreed to listen to the cub. The cub seemed pretty smart for her age, and the lioness liked her for that. One night when everybody was asleep, Ataeru and the lioness were out discussing some 'matters.' Ataeru then motioned for the lioness to come closer to her, and the lioness leaned her head down. Ataeru whispered in her ear, "Kill my mother tomorrow night..." And the lioness nodded, no questions asked.

The next night, the lioness walked into Ataeru's mother's den. She was abruptly woken up by this lioness, and she became somewhat hostile. "May not wanna get that hostile with me," the lioness growled, "my boss wanted ya dead... And I'm not going to fail her." This caused Ataeru's mother to laugh, "Oh, and who is this 'boss' of yours? I ain't afraid of you, you know." That was Ataeru's cue, "Oh, but dearest mother, you will be afraid of BOTH of us sooner than you think.." This shocked her mother, "H-hehe, Ataeru, honey, you wouldn't do this to your own mother, would you?" She raised up. Ataeru merely grinned, then slowly strode up to her mother. "Oh mother, that is where you are wrong... Zefani..." She paused, "Kill her!" Zefani did as told. She leaped at Ataeru's mother, and the fight began.

Clawing, roaring, yelps of pain and agony, and blood dripping from claws and the two fighting lionesses were what Ataeru was witnessing. She let off a devilish grin, much like a grin Scar would make. Ataeru watched as her mother had fallen to the floor, gasping for breath. Zefani was about to deliver the final blow, when Ataeru stopped her. Ataeru walked up to her mother with the same grin, "See what you could have avoided, mother? You could have avoided your dreadful demise, but you didn't. You stupidly attacked me, giving me these scars... But guess what?" Ataeru paused, "You put this on yourself... And one more thing..." She leaned closer to her mother. "Sweet dreams..." Then Zefani delivered the final blow.

Shortly after, the two left. They couldn't risk being caught the next morning by the others. They couldn't let others know who done it. They left the body for the other pridemembers to find. And the duo walked away, with their paws supposedly "clean."

I stopped there. Too much writing. And once I reached that point, my brain just stopped. So yeah. This is Ataeru. I kind of like her. c:
