Description In an alternative reality where Eggman was defeated so bad he ended up working for the G.U.N.
Here is the alternative Metal Sonic series they would develop in a hurry to fight back against the Black Arms.

Fish-eye sensor, medium caliber gun, plasma dagger, and a miniaturised manoeuvrable jet reactor with flow derivation in the arms and feet to fly.

They fly by group of three.

Kinda looks like an Astronaut MetalSonic.

You're right !
But the big round glass is in fact a fish-eye camera
And with a jet reactor, I'm sad to tell you without air you cannot fly. So space is a no-no :'-(

I see. By the way, I had some other cool ideas for this.

Maybe this Metalsonic would be weaker than the regular Metalsonic, but there would be multiple of them. This being due toΒ how G.U.N. would prefer to use low-cost materials over what Eggman uses to make them easy to produce in massive numbers, at the cost of their overall performance. Also I could see them being like a G.U.N. equivalent of the Shadow Android enemies in Shadow the Hedgehog.

Another idea, maybe instead have them reverse-engineer Metalsonic from data recovered from previous battles against him, or from technology recovered in past battles with him. After all, it was shown in the series that G.U.N. largely reverse-engineered the technology from both Gerald and Eggman. Heck it could also work as G.U.N.'s attempt at replicating the Ultimate Lifeform after they didn't get Shadow, or quite possibly could've been built after Shadow joined their cause to assist him.

What do you think of those ideas?

Well, in my story Eggman works for the GUN but he won't give them all his technology, so the may have to reverse-engineer it.
and yes, it is less costly (they replaced the maximum off Robotnik's tech by their own when possible), and they work in trio with coordinated AIs.

They would face Shadow and lead lightning offensives against the Black Arms in order to reduce the burden on the regular army.

Shadow, in this story, is an antagonist. He wasn't awakened by Eggman in the Adventure 2 era, and it was Black Doom instead. So he conserved his memories and even if he's strongly angered by the Black Arms, it is against the humans that he's the most revengeful.

So the GUN and Robotnik are working together, but they have to face the Black Arms AND Shadow. Good luck...

Prison tends to harden ones resentment... then Eggman became less careful about civilian deaths and after an enormous accident, half the world wanted to kill him. He just gave up on being a long conqueror.

Well, at least he didn't suffer the fate of his grandfather...

("a long conqueror" -> "a conqueror", my phone does that sometimes...)

Je trouve que le corps est un peu trop gros. On sait faire des moteurs Γ  rΓ©action plus petit...

C'est volontaire, ils étaient dans la galère et s'ils l'avaient fait plus petit, il serait moins puissant et plus cher.
