I used a digital camera to get this onto a computer so the quality is...shit. My friends scanner needs to be just a little bigger.Anyway, she's a mermaid in her grotto with her treasure. Mer-chicks dig shiny things too. I don't think she'd save you if your ship wrecked at see. She might make sure you drowned faster though. ;D

I just love peering into mermaid grottos - so enchanting. The effort of detail you put in this pic is amazing! There's a great story in it, somewhere. It's a little dark but grottos are supposed to be shadowy, aren't they.

I drew it on a piece of paper that's far to big for the average scanner so I had to use a digital camera....it managed make the drawing lose some of the highlights. It isn't quite so dark in real life.

Wow, she's a superbly exotic mermaid with those gills in her ribcage and that great backfin! Cool pose with her tailfin splayed out behind her, too.
