Cub Taka's having one of those days...As we all do.
And yes--Behold my incredible animating abilities.

[EDIT] Side Note: Just to clarify--Taka = Scar's name when he was a CUB. So no; He's *NOT* Kovu. He's *NOT* a mix of Kovu & Scar. He's not my character. It *IS* cub Scar. However, before he had his scar, his name was Taka. [/EDIT]

Jeez, I would've thought all serious TLK fans would know Taka is Scar is Taka. That's what makes him awesome, having a real name and a past. Cub Taka is so cute, and I like how you drew him, as well as your animation techniques.

Aww, thanks. I can't create very complex animations, however. The most I can animate are blinking eyes, if anything! But thank you so much for the compliment!

And yes--I agree with you about the Taka = Scar thing. But you just have to give a little tolerance room for those who aren't very savvy about the TLK world & its history/backstories.

Whoa... I am having alot of trouble taking my eyes off this... I know you said that people could confuse Kovu/Mixture of Kovu and Scar/your own cub creation... but in all honesty, I don't think that's possible. this looks so much like little Scar it's not funny! Everything from the face shape, the scrany anatomy to the perfectly moulded mane all scream Scar.
The small animation was a nice touch, too. Really makes it jump from simple drawing to something living on my screen.
the drawing is perfect, by the way. Not a leg bending the wrong way or anything.

Your comment is flattering considering that this is the extent of my animating skills. It annoys me when people can't tell the difference between Kovu & Scar. Or thinking that Taka is some kind of mini-Scar. (But I guess the latter is understandable if you're not a big TLK fan.) Believe it or not, someone actually asked me if they could put this on their ankle as a tattoo. True story. It's one of the weirdest things I've ever had someone do with my art. There's a link to it around here somewhere.
