Thanks, That year we had a really bad ice storm and the next day everything had that coating of ice on it. I remember the trees making crackling sounds when the wind would blow.

It is very cold, you get used to it after a while and just throw on another layer of clothes to handle it then it is ok.

Well the trees should recover unless they actually break their branches and even then most of them will survive. I would rather not do either but if you freeze to death you actually just go to sleep no pain involved.

That's right you're out in the midwest where all these ice storms are going on - I'm on the East Coast, and we're due to get some bad weather here at the end of the week.

Very true it would sparkle in the lights but your right after it melts the floor would be a mess and the lights would short out.
