But are you suggesting I should have placed them in the centre? What about the 3rd rule?

Photos should have got a space on which they are standing. Well, generally under main things should be more space than above.
In your picture this space above forks can be bigger than under them, but there should be more of it under - here it is lost. "Table need space to stand".

I don't understand "Note taken with the iso." I can see in "Camera Data" that you used ISO400, but maybe it was default value.

I'm still not fully convinced that there should be more space under the main subjects generally, but I'll take a pic with the composition you're suggesting.

By note taken, I mean I agree with what you're saying (yes iso could have been lower) and will remember the advice. ~_^
