YAY! Next card done Current progress: 2/78. Long way to go lol. This card was a lot of fun to draw. Got to use some rather different color palettes. I have to confess the lightning is one of my favorite parts. The usual tools: Photoshop 5.0, wacom tablet, about 5 hours all-told. Enjoy!

1 - The Magician
The Magician can be anyone, male, female, neither, both, or elsewhere on the spectrum. The person indicated is fully in control of the situation. The crossed wand and sword (here drawn as an anthame, the ritual dagger used in many pagan ceremonies) above the Magician's head represent the person's command of creativity as well as their personal strength. The disk (coin) and chalice at their feet represent the person's intuitive capabilities and their work ethic. The Magician is fully in control of all aspects of their personality, symbolized by the fire, water, wind and lighting (air), and trees (earth) that edge the card. The color of the braid is the color of wheat, and represents the bountiful fruits of the person's labor. The person in question fully understands the situation, and should take advantage of their clarity of mind and purpose to pursue their goals.

PS. This was intended, as well, to be reminiscent of Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man. Different? Absolutely. I thought the closed legs worked better with the swirling elements. Besides, the wind takes care of that part.
