Aeron enjoys a mix of order and chaos in his life, drawn to the violence that chaos brings whilst enjoying order’s submissiveness, he’s forever searching for the right balance between the two. He is willing to take a risk if it will aid him, his family or the empire, dreaming up zealous plans to gain more favour with the ruling family. With his family and particular youngsters, he tries his best to remain as patient as can to avoid unnecessary stress but due to his violent and irrational tendencies, it doesn’t always work out.

With the loss of both older brothers and their father, Aeron has become increasingly paranoid about his position. He’s terrified of losing everything he worked so hard to get, if he feels he’s been attacked, Aeron will ensure he’ll get revenge in one way or another.

History:

Aeron was born as the 3rd son of the Rotherzog house, the younger twin to his brother; Alric. He lived an incredibly comfortable life and was educated and well connected in the social circles. Not being the heir apparent or even second in line to inherit anything from their father, Aeron was pushed towards making his own life for himself, he started training with the local guards during his teenage years to prepare himself for the military as an officer.

8281 - Erzthal being primarily dedicated to mining, the region’s engineers were constantly trying to find new ways to mine ores faster. Aeron’s father, Heimerich, was always interested in machinery, investing in the engineering and helping out with the testing of the machines. A new mining appliance had been delivered, however with all experimental works in progress, things were likely to go wrong. The apparatus had overheated and exploded, shrapnel scarring Aeron who was watching the testing from not too far away and killing their father.

8282 - A year into his older brother’s, Aksel, tenure as Earl. Aeron was 18 and old enough to depart for the military, leaving the comforts of home to the busy capital, Koben. The young man settled into a military life quite well, taking orders and training like any other soldier would. Aeron kept up a strong relation with his family back at home, his visits home were often but short affairs but he became slowly aware of the problems of his hometown with every visit. Unfortunately Aksel was unable to act on these problems as his time as Earl was shorter than expected, only lasting two years when he was involved in a hunting accident, falling from his horse and breaking his neck. Aeron took the news badly, refusing to extend his stay for the funeral, he returned to Koben only a day after Aksel’s death leaving his twin to handle the situation at home.

8283 - Aeron poured all his effort into the life of a soldier, ignoring his need to mourn, he had realised he couldn’t do anything as a lowly soldier. He couldn’t correct the problems at home or affect those around him by how he was now, he strived to raise through the ranks of the military, taking advantage of his connections and knowledge alongside his hard work. He eventually started visiting home again, unable to stay for too long away from his family. Aeron watched his twin, for four years, through letters and conversations, lose control and fall to greed, unrest growing in Erzthal with the insecurity and overall unease with the unstable Rotherzog house.

Late 8287 - The unrest spilled into violence and riots throughout Erzthal, barons and lords fanning the fire in hopes of uprooting the Rotherzogs and establish a new house in its place. Fearing for the safety of his family, Aeron took leave from the military and returned to help stem the rebellions. The violence spilled out for 5 months, peaceful outcomes found in some villages, bloody ones in others before riots were stopped by Alric renounced his position as Earl. Barons and Lords which conspired against the Rotherzog were given pardon.

Since being saddled with the seemingly cursed Earl title, Aeron has been trying to find time for both his military career and his responsibilities back at home, thankfully his family bearing some of the work for him. He continues to progress through the years, learning how to govern a region and trying to do his best for the empire.

Past Events
After many months of planning, collabrating with other leaders and sources of information. He, alongside many brave officers and soldiers, successfully occupied the Northern continent and claim it was Empire territory. As viceroy he tried his best to carry out the orders coming from the mainland whilst serving to the needs of his underlings and learning to adapt to his harsh new home.

His time in Valsk, in his opinion, was a neccessary slog for reasons above his understanding and pay grade. Things were almost running at full capacity by the time the Valski reclaimed their homeland and he disappeared in action.

Currently

Aeron recently returned from prison has spent a few weeks recovering and adjusting to life back within the Empire. He prepares for his new role on the High Council as the military advisor, taking a step away from the military while he learns to adjust and relearns about the outside world.
