Yea, Nuva always seemed much more streamlined and smooth to me (which, I guess, was actually a designers intent from the begining)

Yeah exactly! Because it wasn't just that they got a set of armor, but the masks were smoother and more organic looking, and the arm/leg part got smoothed out to. That's very true.
