Another display of uniforms as part of the plan to cover all ranks and all branches of the german
armed forces. This time the non-commisioned officers of the wehrmacht panzerwaffe (armored forces)
From left to right they are:
1) Stabsfeldwebel
2) Oberfeldwebel
3) Feldwebel
4) Unterfeldwebel
The iconic black uniforms of the German panzerwaffe were manufactured from black wool using a double breast jacket design. The uniform was designed to be as comfortable and optimal for usage as possible in the closed space of a tank, and the black color was practical in not showing dirt, grease or oil. The collar displaying the Totenkops were piped in the same color as the collars displaying the pink colors of the Panzer service branch. Panzer troops when captured often removed these collar tabs as to not be mistaken to be Waffen SS. Source: Panzerworld
