Here's a color version of the Flylady. Ever since originally drawing this picture, it's been screaming at me to color it. So now, 12 years later, here it is.This is the first time I've ever tried using a thicker line as an outline. I quite like it.
Inked and colored in Photoshop CS2.

When you colored this in, what resolution did you have the picture set to?

I always work with the original picture in some ridiculously huge resolution. This serves several purposes: One, when the image gets reduced it tends to also reduce the appearance of wobbly or squiggly lines. Two, if I ever decide to make a print, it's already at a good resolution for doing so, and Three, unless you're working in vector-based methods (Flash or Illustrator), reducing an image will be fine, but enlarging an image will lead to artifacting.
The original resolution of this image is 1613 x 2177 pixels. And that's rather small compared to most images that I do - I've been known to start at 6,000 x 6,000 pixels (10 inches square @ 600 dpi) and reduce as necessary.

Looks like some of dose that trips out of the pubs at night. Skinny, big eyes and just buzzing around the lamp.
I like the outline. That is a very nice stile. Might wanner try that someday.

the tips of her ... hands? ... are sticky. It's setting the drink back down that's the real trick.
