I loved The Last Unicorn! Don't feel like a fail, I just saw it last year at my friend's house, and that's bad because I'm older and should have seen it so many years ago!! It could use an update in many ways but it had a great idea and it was darker than most Disney flicks

I actually love it the way it is! The character designs are unique and everything was very atmospheric and dark. The only thing I would change would be to ditch the songs. They kinda ruined the pacing for me and no offence to some of my favourite actors (holy crap, that was Mia Farrow and Jeff Bridges and Christopher Lee!!), the singing was pretty bad throughout. I think it would work better being non musical, lol

And the ending! I both love and hate it! A story like that, there was no chance of a happy ending, so I'm glad it wasn't a happy sap fest at the end. But there wasn't much closure, either. And apparently its based off a children's book, which is cool.

I really should read that book before the do my remake of it; IF I make my remake I feel the story could be so much more with a bit of development, and yes, no bad singing lol. I'll be counting on you for your awesome feedback whenever I finally get around to making it

I wanna get my hands on the book, too <3 You should do it! Yes, please There's still SO MUCH left to explore in the world itself not to mention the fates of all the characters are just up in the air! I will provide feedback whenever you like It would be my genuine pleasure- I loved the sketches that you started... about a year ago now? I'd chastise you for procrastination but then I'd be a hypocrite
