Description An alternate world where China became the world first superpower thanks to emperor Xuande surviving long enough to enshrine the sponsorship of overseas exploration as a symbol of power and prestige among Chinese nobility. This allowed the Chinese merchants to grow more powerful from trade with the Muslim world, leading to them gaining influence over the state, becoming the sponsors of a new ideology of Chinese supremacism that proposed that the Chinese had the duty to expand their civilization, the greatest on Earth, to all the peoples they could reach.

From the 15th century, the Chinese influence and power expanded, reaching all of Southeast Asia, Siberia, much of central Asia, Japan, Korea, as well as parts of the Indian subcontinent, East Africa, the Arabian Peninsula and Alaska. The Chinese allowed a relatively free and secure tarde across their vast realms kind of emulating the old Mongol policies; and also promoted the colonization of several regions of the Empire with Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Malay settlers.

This map shows the colonies and protectorates of the Chinese Ming dynasty at the height of its power in the mid 18th century

Great job, as usual.
What's going on in central (grey) Australia?

Glad you liked it In Australia there are still tribal societies, but they have been in contact with Malay-Timorese and European explorers for a while, as they have established bases on the continent to support their trade with the Chinese realms. If you want to know what happened after with that region of the world, you can check this post
