Tangerine is a haughty pony with a foul mouth and a seething hatred for the number "2". This hatred all stems from one pony, Southern Belle.

Because Tangy is always considered the "second" to Southern Belle when it comes to baking.

As a young filly, Tangy had won gold two years in a row in the annual elementary baking competitions in Ponyville, and her ego was soaring high-- Only for it to come crashing down when Southern Belle won the next year, and the year after that.. and the year after that

Ever since, Southern has won gold while Tangy has always won silver.

This has left a sour taste in Tangerine's mouth and she's hated Southern ever since. But when Southern stopped participating in baking competitions and only started entering Apple Family exclusive bake-offs. Tangerine was left confused and almost lost because of it.
Tangerine now feels the need to vent her anger outside of competitions and up close in Southern's face. Southern is upset that she's hated but tries her best to warm up to Tangerine. But so far this has only worsened Tangy's opinion of Southern.

Tangerine Tart has a inferiority complex about her baking. Despite still making delicious treats she can't handle giving them to others. A looming anxiety-ridden dread anytime she makes food that she'll often just throw it away. The only people she shares her food with is with her mothers and the judges in a competition.

Friends with Lullaby Lovebird
A huge fan of Pumpkin Cake , has all her recipe books
Always jumping around trying to make money from different jobs. She once wore a clown costume advertising a circus, this is her deepest darkest secret.
Has a pet yellow Python named Butter.
She loves reptiles. Sends money to a repltile conservation charity anytime she gets.
A friendly acquaintance to Fluttershy, as she meets her often in charity meetings or in the vet clinic. Flutters doesn't know Tangy's bad side at all, but likes her for her passionate love for reptiles.

This is a rare moment for me you guys, I'm going to have a rival character that legitimately hates the other person, in a non tsundere way. I literally don't do this because I love the basic tsundere.
