Wow. So many things I love about this piece. How can I start it of?
First, great color choices. Keeping the same periwinkle-blue color throughout keeps the art from becoming too busy. Focus is kept on the relationship, personalities, and emotions.
Expressions. The soft look in their eyes, the way the mouths are somewhat open, show the intimacy of their relationship. The viewer can really feel what the characters feel. Emotions in this flow steadily and easily.
The hair is wonderful, just wanted to point out how it hangs down with the weight of the water.
The pose and scenery. Pose: Pure gold. I love how the boy is leaning over the girl, so the girl is just looking up and gazing at him. I feel the pose really helped this art show the emotion also.
The scenery is wonderful. Nature is a good way to keep things simple, but interesting in art. Great choice.
You did a fabulous job with the rain. It seems to glow, which makes the characters glow. The dripping of water down their face shows that they don't really care what is happening to them, just about each other.
