Description I looked up ''Everybody MMD" on Youtube and got about 128,000 results, all with the same motion data. The only thing that was different was the charecters and the settings. You're kidding, right? I don't mind this at all but when there's more than 100,000 videos of it, there's something wrong. We get it. "Everybody" is funny. You don't need to post more than 100,000 videos to prove it to me. You're probably thinking that I'm a God damn idiot because "Everybody" was made a billion years ago. Look up your favorite motion data. I GUARANTEE there'll be more than 50 videos of the same thing, if it was put up for download. If its a MMD model "see it in action" kind of thing, then yeah I understand.

I don't expect you to be an MMD animation expert, I'm not one either, but
if your going to use a motion data that EVERYBODY used 10000 times already, at least add something to it to call it yours.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I think it has to do with how difficult MMD is to use. People who aren't used to how the program works and runs need to encourage themselves that they are actually DOING something. Plus, if it's a popular song, they are people who might like it, and want to make a video of it, why not use a pre-made motion? Chances are people will pass your video by when they see that popular, overly used Meme, and where did all the hard work go? To waste. It could even fit the character they're using, or is so absurdly out of character that it makes them laugh, and they want to share it. In any case, no one can change who does what, but just because someone uses a motion and doesn't make them bad at MMD, they just might be having some fun, or are trying to learn how to use it.

It's like every big meme: Harlem  shake, gangnam style, gentleman, mustaches, how about the time lat became super popular for editing? Then TDA, and now it's Ginshi I think

Thing is, if someone likes something, they're like "Oh I wanna do this too, it looks fun!" and other stupider people are like "Lol I'll get so famous off this Harlem shake vid I just made"

But at lest harlem shake can be done in many, many different styles. I know what you're getting at here but, idk, people just think these things are funny and wanna ty it out themselves with their own models.

well unless you have to fix the moves (Due to misplaced or non-existing bones), have to work on camera, effects, lighting etc. etc. and trying to line up the music with motion when it is messed up... but if it's just the lazy *SLAP* DAN! Theeeeen yea, agreed....

the only thing I hate about when people use the ''everybody'' motion is when they don't edit the facials at all so whenever they're suppose to sing ''yeaaaah'' their mouth is completely shut. Same goes for some other parts

Lol, so true. I only use motion datas that are used often if it's for a Vocaloid or Utauloid cover. I kinda substitute the MMD video for a drawing since I'm not the best artist... lol.
