Fire is alway an attractive object for a photograph. Where did you made it? Do you've a fireplace at home?
In my opinion the photo is a little bit to bright. Did you use a flash? The best photos of fire you can do without flash and a manual shutter time. I use often a staple of books or some big objects for placing the camera.
