Description HELL YA BABY! DIGIMON IS MAKING A COMEBACK! OH MY GOSH. WHEN I FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS I WAS SO HAPPY.
I really missed the original Digimon Adventures. Digimon was a bigger part of my childhood than Pokemon tbh. I've always enjoyed watching the Digimon Anime more than the Pokemon Anime because the story's pretty interesting, for me at least. So then I created this in celebration of a new season. I can't wait for some big brother Tai moments because I've always thought of it to be adorable :3

I'm really proud of how I drew Agumon in this picture, but I can't keep Taichi from looking like Sora from Kingdom Hearts. Oh well...

I can't wait for April

I love the Digimon anime, I even made a bunch of Fan Digimon based on Holidays, and Tamers has to be my favorite season. I mean that series, in my opinion, had the best story and characters. The characters in Tamers really went through a lot of Trama..... and I know why Tamers was such a mind fuck of a season: It was created by someone who worked on Serial Experiments Lain. Lain is one of the most mind fucky anime out there.... a definetely "not for kids" anime... and they give one of the writers on that anime Digimon to work on? O.O

That's quite a feat, you must be a real Digimon fan xD Digimon is just one of my childhood TV Series and my guilty pleasure when I'm this age (ugh xD)

Digimon Tamers was surprisingly dark when I first watched it. The series was more realistic and they weren't afraid to hurt their characters. It was a little grim, but I did enjoy it. Evangelion for kids xD

I still a digimon fan and I'm 23. I started making my own holiday digimon cause I was bored and was thinking of writing a fanfic. Tamers was supposed to be dark cause of who wrote it, so it's my favorite season from when I was younger and now.

Go watch it, Pix
I know it's a little old, but it was a great show to watch when I was your age. Not too much violence, no romance, perfect for children your age. My brother watched it when he was a little younger too.

Okay, I have a problem. I drawn Sora so many times that Taichi looks like him. Dont make fun of me ;v;
Taichi's hair is like impossible to draw properly okay?

Reallay? My friends often make fun of me if I watch shows like that, but honestly, I like those kind of shows. SO SCREW THEIR OPINIONS HAHA

... Yes. And that is why he looks so much like Sora, no? Oh, reminds me... I figured out one of my friends like Kingdom Hearts |D

Ah, don't worry about what your friends say man. Don't let them control what you like or don't like. I'm the only one in my circle of friends to like Anime or to be abnormally obsessed about things (like BH6). They think it's weird, but do I care? No. I want to do things that I like to do. We're high school students though, so we respect each other, even if it's to support a childish eccentric freak like me |D

Oh ho, companions! DIGIMON TRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEE

I remember this one, I re-watched the entire series some years ago, too bad here, in Italy, they don't want to give it on TV anymore... you know, Pokemon seems more interesting for kids. I prefer Digimon far various reasons:
-They can transform AND return back to normal. ùwù
-They can talk (way more smarter than pkmns ùwù )
-They can DIE (is more serious than pkmn)
-There are actually bad Digimons (Viruses)
-They are way cooler than the others. ùwù

I also have almost every game ever released about them (Digimon World 1,3 and 4, the Card game on PS1, the PS2 games and I'm going to get the PS3 game, too, in the future). Me and my friends are playing DW4 after a few years, we missed it so much we're playing everyday for at least 2 hours per day. >w<

I totally get you Maybe in terms of games, Pokemon has a better system, but the anime and story psffttt. The trophy goes to Digimon for having an interesting storyline in both the games and anime.

Digimon is definitely more serious than Pokemon. I remember getting really pissed over one Digimon's death that I could not comprehend as a kid. Like for Pokemon, I only stuck around until the Orange League and then I kind of faded out during the Hoen or something. For Digimon, I felt compelled to watch all TV Series minus Xros Wars, which I haven't gotten to watching yet (the main character doesn't interest me much, but it's better than watching Ash-PeterPan forget how to catch a Pokemon again and do the same journey over and over again. Unlike Ash, the peeps in Digimon actually grow up. They grow up physically and emotionally. While Ash stays the same and repeats cycle each region, by the end of each series, Tai and Friends actually grow up (although Digimon Adventure 02, the one with Veemon or whatever, wasn't the best series Digimon had). Digimon Tamers was probably the darkest of the series, the one with Guilmon as the main partner. I remember the movie version of that when the Squirrel digimon or whatever died, I cried my heart out. It's so sad man, like...how can you not?

I've played almost all the DS Digimon games, although I never finished a Playstation version of the games because they were too hard for me at the moment. I think I played Digimon World 4...on the playstation right? Is it the one where you choose a starter and explore the world? I think I remember and I think I remember playing the game in Japanese >.> It was absolute hell trying to figure out what everything meant xD

I loved playing Digimon Rumble Arena with my cousins. It was like Smash Brawl, but Digimon, y'know?

I absolutely quote everything you said. ùwù

I've watched the first 3 series, I was going to watch Frontier, too, but... it doesn't feel like Digimon at all, in my opinion... I mean, sure, in Tamers there were fusions between Tamer and Digimon, but that was only for their final forms. In Frontier, Tamers ARE Digimon. How the hell did they manage to came out with such a weird idea? I'm not saying it's bad, but... it's not Digimon. Anyway, I stopped watching Pokemon very early, since I was just a kid I liked those little monsters, but I always felt something was missing, like a true interaction between reality and fiction... it's strange, but it's just wrong that little monsters like animals don't die after a thunder or a cut, it's just... too immaginary. But anyway, I have to watch Xros, too, but I always forget to do it because... I have stuff to do. I'm working on a KH Fandub, I have a Youtube channel, I'm cooperating with a group called Dimension Wars here, on DeviantArt (I can also link it to you, if you want. There is a lot of cool people and the project is interesting... we don't have the skill to actually make it, though. >w< )... I'm a busy person. ùwù

I think you're talking about another one... the 4th Digimon World has been translated in a lot of languages, it's strange that you had it in Japanese. Anyway, you gave not enough details, since in every Digimon game (except for Rumble Arena) you travel around the world with your little partner. In DW4 you control your digimon, you can give him weapons like swords, guns, katanas, claws... >w<
I've also played the one on the GBA, the Racing one. That was cool and interesting to play, it was also in 3D (well, sort of...)

I LOVE that one, I've spent something like a hundred hours on it... but it was too unbalanced to be played fairly, it always ended up with us fighting each other... and then laugh like idiots. Aaah... good old times. ùwù

I watched the entire season of Frontier and even though its different, I quite liked it. It's a change of pace from the regular vibe we get from normal Digimon battles we get from the other spin-offs. To be honest, Frontier was fairly enjoyable for me, I just liked the idea of becoming a Digimon. Like in Digimon Tamers they merge with their Digimon sometimes, just like that, but without the partner. If I were to describe Digimon Frontier, it's more like a Digimon Series focused more on the friendships between one another rather than Digimon. It was weird at first, but I got used to it and just began to like it. Well, I was like eleven when I watched it and you know kids that age eat anything up at that age xD I can't believe I used to like Inazuma 11 >.<

I'm not sure which one it was. I remember playing as Dorumon and was completely obessed with the idea of digivolving to Dorugamon. I also remember playing with my cousin/friend who was either Veemon or Agumon. But yea, it's exactly how you described it to be. Weapons, swords, and katanas, just everything I faintly remember playing it in Japanese and it was a pain, but I still had fun. Never finished it though, got stuck at at the water boat level or something like that.

Yea, it was sometimes really unbalanced xD It was real fun though, I wished there was a remake of it :I A restriction we had when my cousins and I played the game was no legionaries (only rookies except for the Banana Digimon one that farts). My favorite was Guilmon and all I did was spam the little exploding gernade balls and wait for a digivolve item to spawn so I can digivolve into Growlmon and just go to the ultimate transformation (I forgot). If we were bored, we all chose legendary and chose the hardest stage, which I think was the one with the moving platforms. I remember my  cousin would use a cheap method of killing the other cousins and I. He would pick us up and throw us off the stage or jump off the stage with us in his arm. It was hilarious xD

I used to like Tokyo Mew Mew, when I was a kid... that's very unusual (for a boy, I mean), but anyway, I started watching Frontier too, but I couldn't go over the 2nd episode, because the italian episodes aren't on Youtube anymore (I WANT THEM BACK. çwç ), I can't say if Frontier is actually good or no, but I'm hoping for the new series that should arrive here in Italy in the near future. I think it's the one with Taichi, Ishida etc... but they are all grown up, right? ùwù

If there was Dorumon, it's surely the 4th one. I think it's the only game where he appears. And I even know the point you're talking about. Trust me, it IS a pain in the ass, but it's just a matter of "understand where to shoot". If you manage to play it again, I'm pretty sure you'll beat that part without any problem. You just have to equip guns and/or use Magic. ùwù

Diaboromon was the shit... spamming down-square was the most OP move I've ever seen in a Brawl game, but it was fun, it always throw enemies far away, smashing them on walls... so cool. :3
My main was Veemon... but I usually used almost everyone, I didn't like the idea to use only one character. I don't remember almost anything, though... but I do remember we always did matches in Practice mode. Infinite lives... you can't die. And we always did the small forest stage, the one with the breakable wooden bridge. But yeah, in summary, it was a ton of fun, too bad we can't play it with 4 joysticks... the multitap we have broke a memory card, once... we don't want that to happen again. D:

To be honest, when we were young we ate up everything. I used to love Winx Club and now when I'm in the final stages in high school, I look back on the show to see how much it's changed (by golly it's still airing :U) I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I watched the show. I used to think it was the coolest thing ever. As for Frontier, you could always look up the episodes online in Japanese with English Subtitles if you're really desperate. The anime starts off a bit weird, but like all animes that get you hooked in, you start to care for the characters. The new series? That's exactly what this picture is a fanart of xD Digimon Tri is the new season's name and it's releasing in April. I can't wait!

I think that if I played any game I couldn't beat as a kid, I would probably be able to beat it now. I'm now more of a experienced gamer and much older so there shouldn't be a problem with me playing again. The only problem is if I can dig out that rustic CD from the piles of old games I used to play ^^"

I used characters that looked good. Biyomon, Gatomon, Guilmon, Agumon, all the black versions. I don't like using the legendaries that much because they don't look as graceful. It's the same thing for Pokemon for me too. I only catch Pokemon that 'look good' to me. I used to have a PS2 port where you can have four players playing at once. My cousins and I did it and it was fun. That's how we got to play multiplayer games like that Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy one. It was real fun, back when everyone used PS2 and Xbox.

I don't know when it's going to come out here... but I really want to watch it. I don't like when characters grow up "too much", but it's life, you can't change it. And, about frontier, I COULD watch it... but I won't, because, if I have to watch Digimon, I want to watch it in the language I've always heard/seen (?) it, in Italian. ùwù

It took me 4 years to finish it... or even more. It was hard for a kid, but we were a team and we managed, through strategies and levelling up (a friend of mine had a lvl 74 Guilmon... he was unstoppable), and we were going to beat the hard mode, too, but... our data got corrupted. Damn multitap, it broke my memory card. D:

I remember using Gatomon and Flamemon a lot... they are cool as hell. And Angewomon in so fucking sexy-COUGH-COUGH- strong.
I still think that PS2 is the best console ever. It's not a matter of system, but it's a matter of games. PS2 games are the best ones. Look at KHII, interesting yet simple story, not too high graphic, a lot of minigames and lots of secrets. Or Final Fantasy X, Dark Cloud... the list is infinite. What's your opinion? ùwù

I've heard rumors that it's coming out in April, but I'm not sure. Honestly, I want it to be released as soon as possible. Too much is the correct word. Look at Ben 10, sweet, lovable and awesome as a ten year old kid, the weirdest looking monkey baffoon I see in the new version. I'm so sad to see what Ben 10 has become, I will always like the original the best. Good thing though, Digimon seemed to have aged with me (UNLIKE POKEMON. ASH, I'M LOOKING AT YOU, SPAWN OF PETER PAN). I watched Digimon about the same age as the original digidestined were like 8-10~. Now They're high school students and so am I (not sure which grade though). It's not too much for me :3 I understand, I originally heard it in. Japanese with English Subs xD
www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAkSM3…
THIS SONG IS CHOCK FULL OF NOSTALGIA

Holy crap, I might play it when it's summer than >.< I don't have anyone to play with, so I think it's going to be harder for me teehee....

Hahaha, Gatomon was one of my favorites too xD But for totally different reasons. I loved the move where it freezes the enemy temporarily and then you can take the time to chuck them off the stage or into a wall x3 I loved a lot of PS2 games, with of course, KH2 being my favorite one. I haven't played a PS3 game besides Halo and KH1.5 HD ReMix. I don't even have an XboxOne or a WiiU xD The only thing I play on is computers :U

It's been a while since I watched an anime... and it's been a while since I heard that song. Never listened to it until the end, but it's very good. And yup, I agree that Ben 10 Alien -whatever- isn't good as the first series, it's also better animated, in my opinion. And another yes... the hype is so high right now. ùwù

I can always help you if you get stuck at some point. I remember the game as much as I know what's in my pockets (it's an italian saying, it's "you know this very very, VERY well, or something), I've completed it 3 times 4 years ago and I still remember it quite well. ùwù

I remember doing that... and then slam enemies with the giant slab. Awesome times... çwç
"PS3" and "Halo" in the same sentence. Mhh... are you sure you played on a PS3? >w<
Buy, enough with jokes, you really should buy a PS3, too many good games are on it. Not as much as PS2, but it's worth it's cost.
