Actually, Nabu wouldn’t be so petty. It’s his bitter, overprotective fans who won’t let Aisha move on and be happy like a normal woman would. But I’ve given up on the Winx fandom ever changing. Shackle Aisha to a dead wizard forever if you want. I’ll set her free and tell her and Nex’s love story, and it’ll be better than anything you ever imagined.

Thanks for that comment. I needed the motivational boost today. I love Aisha and Nex with all my heart, and I won’t give up on them. I’ll make sure they get the appreciation they deserve.

I'm not complaining about the pairing, it's just that I don't know I was annoyed by the whole love triangle between her Roy and Nex, trust me, my opinion regarding Nabu is that she doesn't bring him up after season 5, its kind of a big thing is someone you loved sacrificed themselves, if you move on after the death of your significant other that you tell your next love interest about that aspect of your past that way if the relationship is truly working they can help you move past it, I don't know I just think its like Aisha is acting like she's forgotten about him that's all, she should at least mention that to Nex as an important part of their relationship, especially because it makes for a interesting dynamic if she's got to save Nex from getting himself killed if say he does something stupid like try to solo the Trix, point of the matter is I'm ok she's moved on, I'm not ok with the fact that she's doing so without struggling to do so, people when they lose someone they truly love struggle to move on.

One more thing. If you’re upset that Aisha didn’t struggle enough before moving on, why are you taking it out on Nex? Roy is the guy Rainbow dropped on top of her only a few months after Nabu died.

If Roy hadn’t existed, Aisha could have spent season five by herself properly grieving and healing. Then in season six, she could have met Nex and fallen in love with him by the end of the season (not right away). All’s well that ends well.

So it’s Roy who screwed up Aisha’s story, not Nex. That’s why if I had written the show, Roy wouldn’t have existed. He didn’t add anything new to the main cast or the story anyway.

Completely agree, he seems like an unnesscary character, though personally I think the Specialists as a whole detract the focus on the Winx themselves and their fights against their various enemies, the most consistent characters in the show in my opinion are the Trix

That’s not what that comment suggested. 

I don’t work for Rainbow, so I didn’t write the story. Believe me, I would have written it differently. (Roy would never have existed, for starters.) But regardless of how things ended up, I love Aisha and Nex. It breaks my heart that the Winx fandom may never be able to fully appreciate them. 

That’s why I’ve given up on the fandom, but I won’t give up on this couple. It’s not their fault they were brought together this way. They’re fictional characters, after all, so they have no free will.

But the past existence of another character doesn’t take away from Aisha and Nex’s beauty and potential. This couple deserves to be supported and celebrated as much as the other Winx couples.

I'm ok with their relationship I just wish that she would talk to Nex about Nabu just so that we know she hasn't forgotten him

That’s why I feel like the fandom will never be able to fully appreciate Aisha and Nex. Rainbow ruined their chance. But like I said, I’m not giving up this couple.

Just because Aisha doesn’t talk about Nabu anymore doesn’t mean she’s forgotten him. She never talks about her childhood friend Anne anymore, either. Do you think Aisha has forgotten her?

I feel like the fandom wants Aisha to “remember” Nabu because they haven’t let go of him yet. They want her to validate the feelings they still have for him by acting as upset as they are. I think that even if Aisha and Nex had this hypothetical conversation about Nabu, the fandom still wouldn’t allow themselves to move on and become attached to this new couple. There’s too much bitterness in this fandom for them to ever fully open their hearts to Aisha and Nex.

Speaking of Anne there is a character that should make a return at some point, Aisha's attained galactic fame at this point and you'd think your childhood friend would try to get in touch again, it happens with Stella in the comics with her friend Iris
