This is a nettle, of the stinging variety, I think. Feel free to offer more info if you like. Otherwise just enjoy the bright yellow of this frilly edged flower with it's funny shaped leaves and hair thin spikes.

(And while the thorns might look ineffective I assure you that if you ever foolishly lose your temper and kick a plant like this while wearing sandals you will regret it.)
