I bought a Wacom Intuos pen and touch tablet and I AM ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT!!! IT was really tough to use for the first two hours of usage but then after the third hour I started to get how to use it. This drawing was scanned and I colored it digitally im still not all that good with it but im still having fun using it.Related content

Thats great, ive been trying to sort of balance out how much i do digital and traditional. Though it hasnt worked out well for me yet. I used Sketchbook express v6.

That sounds awesome, ive been working on my own series for a while now, just a ten page chapter a week with and even though the story the drawings arent that great its the story that helps it i reckon

sorry for just now seeing this, but that sounds cool. Im still saving for a drawing monitor(or whatever the correct name would be?) Your doing way more than me, thats almost more than how many things i drew last year. im a terrible procrastinator. I really need to start writing again actually i use to do it frequently but just like everything else , it went downhill.

I kinda know what you mean there since, I actually did start writing a book
which went for about 30 pages. But I soon forgot all about it and never continued it
the story in my head was good but I skipped massive amounts of details I guess
which brings it to 30 pages of stuff and me getting bored of it

Thats definitely my biggest issue when i get bored at times i just stop for a long time, im still not sure when i will draw again but whenever i do im going to work on full bodies. Then after awhile i may go back to writing. But your way more ahead then me since im not doing anything currently except watching anime haha. Do you ever get stuck when writing, I can remember when i use to do it in the past I had the most fun getting stuck because the longer it took me to think of the next scene the better it came out.

I'd say yes and with the story i'm working on atm (a comic/manga project)
most of the time I do end up quite stuck thinking about
how I should continue it on and what would be interesting to the reader.
So I do take breaks sometimes to come up with the story and I gotta
say its fun to think about it before you write it out.
But yea at the moment I'm on thinking how I should write my most
recent chapter.

oh thats cool but your right there are quite a lot of people doing it now. Ive been really thinking about doing drawing vids at some point. My biggest issue though is that the camera/camcorder would be pretty expensive.

ah fair enough, well if you do digital you could always use software like
hypercam and stuff to record your screen. I'm gonna try and do a drawing vid
just for the fun of it, oh I just got an idea for ya that could save you some money.
try and position either a smart phone, ipod touch or ipad something like that in a way
that can record ya. Then you won't really have to pay for a camcorder

Before RWBY came out he worked on something called
Dead Fantasy and never finished it.

I just found out today i was so shocked to hear that. Dead fantasy was great i loved it. He also did red vs blue which was also very popular. He was a really awesome animator. Its always saddening when an artist passes before he is able to finish his current project. Dead Fantasy may never be finished but RWBY has a good chance of being continued. It would also be great for them to continue RWBY in memory of him.

Excatly. That happened with this anime called kikaider (im sure you've never heard of it lol) it was a manga made into a anime the creator shotaro ishinomori passed before he was completely done adding to the story. So his apprentice finished it for him and it was animated as an ova, which i thought was really great.

I knew you wouldnt lol but its pretty good it came on Toonami in the early 2000's. If it does continue itll most likely be a long while till we see something new. Ive been so occupied with other things i have neglected drawing. I seriously need to draw something in the next few days its been over 2 months since ive drawn anything. exact reason why my growth is so slow. I wonder how good i would be if i was actually consistent at drawing lol.

I find it fun just thinking about the story line and what it should be about. One of my ways to concentrate is I don't sign into anything until im done. I do the same thing with assignments.

I need to just stick to 1 story i have a few going on in my head. Ive actually been doing that recently staying away from everything untill ive completed what im doing. Im actually in the process of breaking my procrastination.(i think lol) ive started to draw again but im currently in the recuperating stage since its been over 2 months since ive last drawn. i drew 2 days ago for the first time in a while and it looked like trash lol. Then i drew again today and it looks pretty decent so in about 1or 2 wks tops i should be back to normal.

I hope you get your skills back, I've just finished up
with the recent chapter I drew out and one of my mates
that reads it, told me there's not much character development.
So now I'm thinking how am I going to create said character
development in the story. Like the main guy had an entire
10 pages were it talks about his past, but the main girl
doesn't have that luxury and some of the other characters
are similar. I think you'll do fine btw, after all just draw a bit
and practice makes perfect

Thanks that means a lot i do too. I drew again today and im starting to feel a bit more comfortable, i try not to over do it though so ive just been drawing for about 1-2 hours a day. Are those pages up yet? If so ill read them all tomorrow maybe i can help you with that.

habit and those pages are up along with all 9 other chapters, but atm I'm thinking of creating a backstory for one of the characters to add information to the characters as well as develop there character

sorry for the late response these past few days have gone by really fast. ive been trying to do so much. im starting college in a few months myself so ive been trying to get all that situated when i start ill probably feel the same way you do. I find it fun too, but sometimes i think i go too deep to the point i have several pages of there background lol.
