Just a matter of opinion. In my view they complement each other in terms of character so perfectly, and thus, mutual attraction.

Don't worry about it. I love the idea of Alfred bonding with Arthur at a flower shop in any way. My version doesn't have them fall in love, because it only covers a month or two that they've known each other. It would've been too soon and would not work. Besides, when I do Romance stories, I prefer using rare pairings anyway, because more ideas.

Phew! It's great relief knowing that my OTP doesn't make you feel uncomfortable or unpleasant.  (You might call it cultural shock LOL cus as far as I know, unlike in Europe or America, in countries like China and Japan it's a much more terrible thing to do to separate a pairing or inverse it.)
Yeah, I think a fanfic, as well as a pairing (no matter rare or not), must be reasonable to be attractive. Stories like "WHO CARES ABOUT OOC OR LOGIC? WE ONLY FOCUS ON THE HAPPY END!" just don't make sense. That's another reason why I love 米英 so much——always surprised by its amazing logic self-consistence, which is also what I'm trying to grasp all the time and express in my own way.

Oh no! I'm very mellow about pairings. I personally favor rare pairings, but that's because I love being creative and doing something different. It's funny, because the rare pairings I favor will always destroy someone's OTP. Like someone may favor USUK and DenNor, while I favor EngNor and AmeDen. Another person may favor FrUk and RomBul, while I favor EngRoma and FraBulg. Lol I'm weird, but I see more ideas with those.

I completely agree. In my opinion, anything can be done right. There's no such thing as a bad idea, but bad execution. Me choosing rare pairings is just my personal preference, because I can do more with them. I'd be able to do more with EngRoma than USUK or FrUk. Any great idea with USUK or FrUk has already been done. Same with Spamano, Amerapan, GerIta, etc. Any great idea for any of those have already been done. Now, pair Switzerland with Italy and I already have a million ideas that haven't been done yet XD

Wow that's cool~considering it does require more effort to make rare pairing romance convincing. As for me...frankly speaking I'm OK with any other Heta CP as long as it doesn't conflict with USUK ∠(ᐛ」∠)＿

Oh and I suppose we are motivated by different intentions. I fall for USUK because it coincides with my outlook quite perfectly (The relationship between the two countries, the way they interact, the magnetic field between them...etc.), so though many sparkling ideas have been done, I still wanna create some more stories in order to get my very personal values supported, conveyed or even improved. I really enjoy that process

I'll admit, it is more challenging to pair up rare pairings, because you are challenged to rely on keeping the characters in character and whatever relationship they have. Though, some of them are easier than you think. Most of them you take your romance story base off of other romance cliches. EngNor = best friends becomes more EngRoma = same with EngNor or satire Twilight meets Hogwarts (I'm surprised nobody thought of that) Amermano = employee falls in love with boss (think Spamano, only Romano's "boss" is a workaholic and craves Italian food) RusPol = Beautician and the Beast in a nutshell (trailer: m.youtube.com/watch?v=PSP9E56E… you cannot possibly tell me this isn't Russia X Poland lolz)

Well, really a new dimension for me XD  I do open my eyes communicating with you (Thx for people like you willing to share opinions with a girl who can only express herself in poor English LOL).

Ah, and the fanfic is warm and lovely. I like how you shape their characters as well as the depth you give to the story~
