I like the pose and expression here... the wings just look a bit weird. They seem a bit small, and the feathers look a bit oddly placed, especially the first set that just fans out.

I would think with a body like that, that you would see a little bit more of the back leg(s), but maybe you had reasons that i dont know about.

I actually took the pose from a piccie of a lopard and a panther and mixed them. Dunno why, but the legs in the back look like that >.< I do see what you are saying now that I look back at it

this looks a bit strange though. perhaps as a wild-cat has a short neck, this one not. i assume it is a relaxed pose but the head neither the neck are touching the branch. he makes a cramped look to me. you should have made him lay his head and neck fully down in my opinion.

i know the problem with bill-pening. it is though something good to work with. it forces you to do it right the first try. a really nice excercise for comic drawers where every stroke counts.

It's bit wierd though, I dont know if it is the angle but it looks kinda "off" how its resting on that branch, but then again I love the way you made it a bit panther-like, its faint but I can see it
