Crowfeather always loved Leafpool, just not Nightcloud.
I don't really care for Nightcloud but I don't hate her or consider her a whore, I really feel sorry for her.

Sure she can be a bitch and a bit clingy to her "mate" but who could blame her?

She didn't choose Crowfeather as her mate and force him to stay with her, Crowfeather used her just to gain respect from the other warriors and prove that he is still loyal to Windclan.

She tried give him all her love, but he didn't care for her or his son Breezepelt at all. Because of it, both seemed to be jerks since they were taken advantage of.

She also gangs up on Leafpool, but that is because she is jealous that she gets all the love from Crowfeather instead of herself. Imagine how that would feel, your mate not giving a damn about you or your kid and is only using you to keep his respect in his clan, and is in love with this other cat from another clan who he shouldn't have had any business for in the first place and doesn't even care that you exist.

And no matter what mate he has, he'll always love Leafpool and only see Nightcloud as just another cat while Nightcloud wished she had a mate that would truly love her.

I understand that some fans really hate her, and say that she deserves to walk in the Dark Forest but, take a walk in her shoes or this case paws and see her life from her perspective, not yours.
