SHORT STORY: I love pokemon and wanted to showcase my spacey/star hero themed Pokemon OC.

LONG STORY that's all tl;dr:
DID THIS A FEW WEEKS AGO BECAUSE I WAS IN A PIXELY MOOD DOHOHO- actually I just wanted to showcase my character and his team but DeviantArt is all "You can't post sprites you didn't create, bitch" so I was like "fuck you I'll just make my own then" so then that's what I did lol

(Like seriously people one of my pet peeves is people shittily editing pokemon game sprites and then using MS Paint to VOMIT ALL OVER THEM but that's not the point)

So this is my SoulSilver team built for my OC, Tramont. He's got a wife and a 14 year old kid, but had a... "hero career" of sorts before that involved him trying to take down not-as-generic evil team called "Event Horizon." He supposedly put them down for good before settling down to have a family... but the organization resurfaced about a decade or so later, putting him back on the job. He assembled his Pokemon team according to how well they worked as a unit... Made sure that they provided the strength for battling, the utility for transportation and the ingenuity of getting around obstacles.

Four members of this team are based on existing video game characters, lol. Can you guess them?

"The Crimson Star" - Comet the Ledian
(Male; Jolly nature, capable of taking hits)
The optimistic leader of the squad who manages to keep everyone focused and on the same page. Being the "Five Star" Pokemon, he draws most of his power from the stars. Because of this, he packs quite a punch for a bug Pokemon, making him Tramont's main battler. Much like his trainer, he will not hesitate to help another person or pokemon in trouble, often making use of Light Screen, Reflect or even using his own body as a shield.

"The Supernova" - Kyndo the Typhlosion
(Male; Sassy nature, mischevious)
Being the obligatory starter Pokemon and a major powerhouse of the team, Kyndo has an overinflated ego and an explosive temper. He spends most of his time being grumpy, rarely communicating with the rest of the team. He normally releases his anger in battle, getting a childishly cruel delight at burning his foes. He gets very competitive with other fire types and becomes very bitter if he isn't able to prove that he's better than them.

"Thunder Rocket" - Sparkster the Pikachu
(Male; Docile nature, somewhat of a clown)
Agile and hard to hit like most Pikachu, Sparkster has another ability at his advantage - the gift of flight. With the use of electromagnetism, he's able to launch himself into the sky and stay airborn for as long as he wishes. Because of this, he's grown to be carefree and determined to make good use of his power. Similar to Comet, Sparkster likes to keep the rest of the team in good spirits, normally resorting to silly facial expressions to cheer everyone up.

"Burning Angel" - Shou the Wartortle
(Male; Careful nature, hates to lose)
Although Sparkster may be considered the childish one of the team, Shou holds the title as the youngest one. His egg was hatched in the Burned Tower of Johto, giving him a mild fear of fires due to seeing the ruins of its descrution there. As he trained and aged, Shou then became determined to prevent other fires from destroying things. Because of this, he has a sort of nervousness when around or fighting against fire Pokemon (Kyndo especially). He has made it a point to never give up against a fire type, otherwise the loss would crush him and his confidence to fight fires.

"Forest Assassin" - Gunstar the Grovyle
(Male; Serious nature, somewhat stubborn)
Precision and perfection is what Gunstar lives by and will settle for no less. As a Treecko, he originally belonged to Blazar, a higher up in Event Horizon who constantly encountered Tramont in the past. However, Gunstar quickly grew disguisted with Blazar's attitude and actions after being under his command for only 3 days. This prompted him to escape on a boat away from Hoenn and his Trainer. Gunstar then encountered Tramont in Johto, where he was convinced to join his team. He's not above petty thievery and oftern coordinates plans making use of the others' strengths.

"Megaton Hero" - Taro the Hitmonchan
(Male; Adamant nature, sturdy body)
Strong willed and full of spunk, Taro strives to put in 100% of his effort in every fight he partakes in in hopes of improving his skills - particularly, his stamina. His species has the strange quirk of being able to only fight for three minutes straight before having to take a break. Since this restriction is risky to both himself and his trainer, Taro often pushes himself in training to go beyond this limit. On occasion, he'll even volunteer to use himself as a punching bag in order to practice his defense. As a result of his discipline, Taro's usually the go-to 'Mon when it comes to brute strength (although Kyndo would argue otherwise.) He rather enjoys using his strength to help others, although he does expect some sort of reward or praise for his efforts every now and then.
