Physical Appearance: She is quite small for a Nehringi with not a lot of muscle or fat to speak of, but sports the typical Nehringi pelt with deep colors and lots of barring. Her eyes are large and intense in color, giving her a bit of a thousand yard stare at times, and she has a slightly narrower muzzle than most Nehringi. She often has a worried or stressed expression.

  Eyes: Big and blue-green in color. She is often called "Owl" because of how wide they are, especially when she's stressed.

  Posture: She often stands with her neck awkardly upright and rigid as she attempts to look like the princess she is meant to be. But otherwise her posture comes off and tense and uncertain.

  Musculature: While she is still thickly built as with all Nehringi, she is much more petite than most others in her subspecies.

Passionate

- Kai has very strong opinions about the things she cares about. She cares deeply about the wellbeing and the tribe, often voicing her concerns freely for all to hear. However, many tribe members feel that—since life has been so good for so long—her concerns are merely all in her head, and therefore many of her words are ignored.

Altruistic

- Kai is selfless, always putting her pack before herself. She constantly thinks about the greater good, peace, and balance, and is very deeply rooted to the tribe's naturalistic beliefs, feeling that all life is sacred and should be respected.

Akaiti was born alongside her only sister, Kau'i, and is the daughter of Chieftain Paku and the deceased Chieftess Lilani. While Kau'i was born big and healthy, Akaiti was small and frail as a pup, and Paku and Lilani feared she would not last long. But with the love and dedication of her parents, the sickly pup soon perked up and began to play with her sister like a normal puppy, but she has never been quite as big or strong as she should be. Sadly, that killer storm soon swept through the jungle and took their mother's life before Kai could form many concrete memories of her, but Paku claims that while her sister inherited her looks, Kai takes after her in terms of her practicality and desire to learn and do good. Because of this, Kai feels she must follow in her mother's footsteps and act as the pack's advisor, and she puts of a lot of pressure on herself to rise up to the task. But Paku does not agree with this, not because he doesn't believe in his daughter but because he still sees her as that tiny, sickly pup he feared wouldn't survive the night, and has become quite overprotective of her. He wants her to share in the Raa'tua spirit and stop worrying about everything so much, so he tends to shut down any of her attempts to help or "work" and is constantly badgering her to sit down and relax.

But after the day the earth shook violently, Kai has become increasingly concerned about the state of the tribe and fears what awaits in the new land to the northwest. She has become a touch more bold about voicing her concerns despite Paku's best efforts to ensure her that everything is fine, and grows more and more impatient with both his and her sister's carefree attitude. Her sister's curiosity of the new world also terrifies the smaller sibling, and Kai feels she must protect Kau'i from the unknown, begging and pleading with her to stay within the safety in the jungle. But that's never stopped Kau'i before. Between putting up with her father's laziness, especially during such uncertain times, and trying to keep Kau'i from getting herself killed, Kai seems to be nothing but a walking ball of stress these days, terrified of what the future has in store next...
