Illustration from rpRu doesn't remember her past the half-elf found her at the river. Azzedar thinks that his life would be too dangerous for this girl so he wanted to leave her to a granny.
Dialog:
Ru didn't sleep well either after the way they closed the discussion yesterday. She woke up early in the morning and started sweeping the bakery. So when Azz tried to leave the house silently they met in the shop face to face.
"Er... Good morning."
Azz was dumbfounded for a few seconds. This was exactly the situation that he wanted to avoid.
"I'm going back to the inn." he said, matter-of-factly.
It was obvious that Ru was worried about something… After all, her face was almost always beaming with joy, even in harsh situations. It was conspicuous that something was not right. But then she just cast down her eyes.
"I'll pack some breakfast for you. And lunch too… will you come back for dinner?"
Azz held her chin and lifted it to make her look at him.
"I would like you to keep your smile. You probably feel like I’m abandoning you, but one day you’ll understand my decision. "
Ru's eyes glistened sadly, but she was a kind-hearted girl so she forced a not too sincere smile on her face, because that was what Azz asked from her. Even if she wanted to say that she didn’t want Azz to leave her behind.
Azz didn't want to make this even more painful for her, so he stroked her head and tried to cut the farewell short. He wasn't sure if he'll come back or not.
"You're a kind girl." he saw the nobleness in her. Not a lot of children handle pain like she did. "Take care!" the door was closed even before Ru could give him some food for the journey.

Ru nem emlékszik a múltjára, a félelf találta a folyóparton, és az első útba eső faluban rá akarta hagyni egy nagymamára, aki szívesen befogadta. Úgy gondolja, nem való neki a harcos élet, jobb lesz neki ott.
Dialógus:
Ru sem aludt túl jól azok után ahogy tegnap lezárták a témát, és már korán felkelt. Bár még mindig nem értett igazán a sütéshez, már elkezdett a boltban sepregetni, más dolog híján. Így amikor Azz megpróbált halkan kijutni a házból, egyenesen szembe találták magukat a bolthelységben. -
- Umm... Jó reggelt....
Egy pillanatnyi döbbenet után némileg zavartan - Szia... - pont ezt a helyzetet akarta elkerülni - Visszamegyek a fogadóba - mondta tárgyilagosan
Látszott rajta, hogy valami nyomja a lelkét... elvégre arca még a mostoha körülmények ellenére is majdnem mindig ragyogott, így feltűnő volt amikor nem volt minden rendben. De végül csak lesütötte a tekintetét.
- Teszek neked félre reggelit. És ebédet.... Vacsorára már visszaérsz?
A lány álla alá nyúlt s megemelte, hogy rá nézzen - Szeretném... ha megőriznéd a mosolyod. Most úgy érzed, hogy cserben hagytalak, de egyszer majd megérted miért döntöttem így...
Szemei szomorúan csillantak meg... De amilyen jólelkű volt, inkább az arcára erőltetett egy nem túl őszinte mosolyt, csak mert Azz azt mondta neki, hogy mosolyogjon. Pedig legszívesebben kimondta volna, hogy nem akarja, hogy Azz ott hagyja.
Azz nem akarta fokozni a fájdalmát, így megsimogatta a fejét s próbálta rövidre zárni a búcsút. Nem volt biztos benne, hogy vissza fog még jönni.
-Kedves lány vagy. - látta benne a nemességet, nem sok gyerek viseli így a fájdalmat - Minden jót - indult határozottan az ajtóhoz, meg sem várva hogy odaadja neki az útravalót
