In the actual game, Badeline doesn’t actually appear to be crying, but I like to imagine that deep down she really wants to cry. (Spoilers for Celeste) I mean, Madeline is trying to get rid of her! The part of Madeline that Madeline needs to be able to go through life. Badeline just tried to help, even if her help wasn’t the best. Badeline is a really good character otherwise, and throughout the game I just adore her even more.

I always loved being messy with my art. The crazy hair and messy, very thick shading fit well together. Besides, while it took much longer to shade this than any other drawing I’ve done, I think it turned out really well! Not to mention, I’m really proud of myself for this!! It looks much more anime like, and also, who knew teeth could actually be a bit of a challenge? I suppose looking at many references help a ton!!
