Her crew respects her sharp wit and ability to create plans that place them in the perfect place to succeed. They admired her tenacity and ability to come back after a failure. Din thinks her greatest strength is her silver tongue which is as much a blessing as it is a curse. She likes to keep up on the surrounding nation's plans just so she can know where will the best ships be located so she can steal from them.
History:
Din was born into a Noble family of a Kasyrian military class on the fringe of Kasyr territory. Her father wanted to make sure his children were safe in the instance their land could be taken by a neighboring kingdom. So he taught her and her three siblings (Layru, Felorin, Shula) the way of the sword. It was a skill she would forever thank him for.
When she turned 10 years old instead of the neighboring kingdom attacking, a band of highly trained and organized mercenaries attacked. Her family did the only thing they could and fled for their lives. Finding a new home in a port city. This came to be her true home. Even though they were still quite far from a possible invasion Din kept up her training till she came of age to be wed. She was promised to the governor of the port town, and although reluctant at first she soon came to love the man. Tariq, her husband, didn't want a quiet wife and enjoyed Din's firey spirit and sharp wit. Together they forged business plans that made the city flourish for a time. She learned a lot during this span of her life, both in diplomacy and leadership, things that would help her later in life.
When she turned 29 the band of mercenaries had made their way to the port town. This time killing Tariq and several of her family. She was only able to flee thanks to a crew of sailors who worked for her brother Felorin. As the ship fled the port she vowed she would get revenge for what they had done to her. From this day forward she would take back everything that was ever taken from her and give it to the people she wanted to protect.
