Passage of The Elder Scrolls is a fan made Elder Scrolls comic in which fans may vote/ decide what happens next! From who the main character is to what they steal, you get to decide WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!

I vote Thief, because my brother is one of the most fantastic thief and Argonian ever...! Already 100 point in his skill, and he could dissapear before your eyes, wooh hooo! Total epic badass!

I think mage or thief definitely. They fit the Argonians although they can succeed as warriors...

Mmmmmm... Being a thief is exciting... But so is being a mage... Being a mage you don't get armor, but you get spells which can not be taken from you... MAGE!!!

Oh, mage for me.
While I personally don't love hybrids,, the subcategories of the three are just as important. Perhaps this question is better rephrased as "Combat", "Magic" or "Stealth" class? I personally play as a Crusader (a subcategory of warrior/combat) and a Witch (a female subcategory of conjurer which is a subcategory of mage. A subsubcategory. e_e) as a lore-fan.
It isn't rare to find pure mages or thieves (etc), but everyone has their strengths lore-wise. Go to the College of Winterhold? You're bound to find an Alterer, Conjurer, Battlemage, Alchemist, Healer, Enchanter etc. -- they're all mages, yes, but they have their sub-classes. 
And of course I'm ignoring those who appear to loathe the lore; the Dragonborn Warrior Assassin Thief Daedra Demigod Vampire Mage King of Everything. Hahaha. >:I I'm a stickler for lore.

The reason why I only have 3 to vote from is because I wasn't expecting this many people to vote AND that the main character of this comic will bleed into other classes / fields as the story progresses. This is just deciding his starting point/ backstory. Things will make. Sense in a few pages.

i am warrior,mage and chief....i am balanced ^^
to me and went well so I finished the game almost entirely, only missions left me with errors ^^

If it's Oblivion, probably thief, but my Argonian was a rogue (like combat elements but somewhat stealth oriented). Magic is supremely better on Skyrim than it was in past Elder Scrolls (in my opinion).

this is a vote for what the main character of this elder scrolls comic's class will be. It will not be taking place in the time between Arena and Skyrim. You will have to wait and see when it takes place.

Warrior - deadly in close battle. Heavy armors, shields, one and two-handed weapons and strength are his best allies. Never fall back, full of courage and honor, fight to the end with evil, protecting those who need help, and if died, then only in battle.
Mages - prefer long distance than close battle, and robes instead of armors. But the most powerful mages can protect themselfs and attack with magic more powerful, than any sword could give them. Intelligence is their best advantage. They are not scary of any kind of enemy, with Destruction and Conjuration spells. The magic of Mysticism and Illusion show them the truth. And Alteration and Restoration magic, is their best friend, no matter where they will go.
Thiefs - the "workers" of the night. Their enemies are locks, and weapons - lockpicks. Fast in action, unnoticeable like a shadow and light armor is for them like a second skin. They're quiet, so nobody will find out about them, but when they get caught, they gone as fast, as they appeared. Also they are good as a scouts, and they might be perfect assassins as well, especially with bow with their hands.
Hard to choose the favourite class, if every one of them have many pros and cons.
As for myself, I prefer Mage class.
