Great stuff, I've always been interested in the aftermath of stories like this. Even if they aren't necessarily happy.

Sorry if this seems like spam but do the epilogues of the different characters have good and bad endings or are the first parts metaphors for the actual epilogue

Also, not spam at all! I always love getting comments.

The way I see it is that the part in italics is a press release put out by Wonka's factory, but it's been done as a cover-up to explain the disappearances of the girls (saying they've all taken on full time positions at the factory, which is technically true).

Also wonka has a lot of depth in it, i can semi relate to him in this, i have great ideas for all sorts of things and my main goal is too entertain, although my philosophy is if nobody made this cool idea i wanna make it because i would wanna try it, its hard to not cross the line especially if its possible the line doesnt exist, it may cross the line but does it matter if people enjoy it? In a way to some people even this story works like that

Haha thanks so much. I'm a very egotistical person so compliments like this really make my day. I'm glad to hear you liked it!

Are we never getting an illustrated chapter 4?

I still keep in contact with the artist, but their life has been pretty busy with other commitments for the past quite a while. So, it's not looking like we'll see it any time soon, but never say never.
As for Simplify.exe, I do have some ideas on possible sequels that I might get around to at some point. It's not currently a priority, but out of curiosity what sort of sequel are you hoping to see? More adventures of Kitti? Similar scenarios happening to other people?

Probably other people, and maybe like a cameo type thing from Kitty.

WELL WELL WELL
This was so very much worth the wait. I love the revisiting of the berries and the gummi bear, which were my favorite chapters.

Glad I could do both those chapters justice with their respective endings! Those were some of my personal favourite chapters as well.

Ahhh, the much awaited epilogue. I for one enjoy this immensely, arguably more than entire chapters of the original stories. I have a strong desire for resolution in stories like this, and I was delighted to see every member of the tour finding some semblance of contentment or actualization in their new forms, no matter how macabre their fates may have been. Particularly enjoyed the melon patch and their particularly licentious scarecrow. That is one lusty lollipop.
And that was a fun bait and switch at the end. I'm curious....will we ever see Beauregarde's Chocolate Factory? I wonder what that would look like.....

Even though I don't have any immediate plans to revisit the tour in the near future, I've already been having fun thinking about just how a factory coup might play out. One thing's for sure, Beauregarde's Chocolate Factory would play out a whole lot differently than Wonka's.
Happy to hear you enjoyed the melon and the lolli. That was one of my favourite sections to write.

I could see this whole epilogue playing out cinematically as its own short film. The ending is particularly emotional and describes a deeply troubled Wonka.
F**king great job.

Thanks, that's really kind of you to say. Wonka's really been on quite the emotional journey this tour. Guess watching woman constantly turning into candies takes its toll on a person eventually.

Wow that was a fantastic ending to all of this worth the wait.
Situations like Anne where people are still mentally themselves but trapped in some warped body are always my favorite so loved that.

Glad you liked that. I had fun playing with different levels of tf and mental awareness. It helps keep the story from getting too repetitive!
