Yu Min likes his library, and prefers to stay in his library. He's afraid of the outdoors, and while he's innately curious about everything (people, life, what have you), that doesn't push him to leave his library. He does venture out into the world on occasion, however, though always under the protection of a thick, brown coat. If you talk to him one on one, he is friendly, and will likely appreciate your company.
History
They fell from the Moon, sent by the Lady to protect those that survive a disaster in the future. They landed on a high mountain in the middle of an endless ocean, and waited. Waited. Waited some more. And waited. Waited. The disaster didn't come, not in their life time. They died, and the five horns on their head fell into the soil to sprout a tribe of stars. Those stars light up their story, and carry on the waiting.
Or, they were supposed to. The stars eventually forgot their original purposes, after eons of waiting. They became avid bookkeepers, obsessed with preserving knowledge and stories, to try to recall their pasts, but to no avail. Each generation, a reminder of the first star was born, a special Minior with five horns instead of two. Eventually, however, that knowledge was also forgotten - five horned Miniors devolved from a disgrace, to a monster, then to an omen of disaster upon the tribe.
Yu Min was such an omen, and it immediately cast him away from families and friends. He was well-educated, as everyone in his tribe was, but bullied by children and hated by adults. This was why when the stars fell about two decades ago, and he felt the entire universe calling for him to see where one lands, Yu Min followed that call. He ran away from his village, all the way down the reclusive mountain, and found two gravely wounded men in the middle of a crater. One was still alive - barely - and cradled the other who was hanging onto dear life. Yu Min, despite his shyness, ran to get help from the nearest village. As the two men recovered, Yu Min stayed by their sides.
When the two men decided to sail away from the island, Yu Min followed without a second of hesitation. Despite his fears of other people and places, he thought that anywhere was better than home. His five horns garnered no special attention in the village, after all, so perhaps he wasn't the terrible omen he had always thought to be. When the two men eventually became Leaders of Radiant Harbor, Yu Min was put under the care of the palace librarian, due to his natural love of books. Now, ever since the former librarian passed from old age, Yu Min had been alone in the library. It had become his home, and honestly, he couldn't be happier.
