D Hope you are doing well.. I've been super involved in trying to straighten out a bunch of stuff. Last day of Grandson's school on Friday... now the real grocery consumption begins!

oh school ends early june? here they have summer vacation for approx end june to end september.
but this year cos of the national exams my kid is off school early.
he's going to do an extra curriculum computer course this summer starting next week...

That's nice. We used to get three full months for summer but now they are lucky to get two months off. Plus we have all these make-up days because of the snow days. Believe it or not we're having a heat wave now!

oh! so when its snowing its not an 'extra' holiday!
there is a bit of a movement to reduce school holidays but so far it has come to nothing. i am not really concerned cos my youngest only has 2 years of '6th form' before university.

wow! from snow to a heatwave! are you enjoying the lake to cool off in? or is the water too cold?
