Melanie Ridge is a lazy, greedy and self-indulgent girl who loves

she prefers that people sort out their own problems and feelings.
Because of this, Budge witholds an angry expression most of the
time to intimidate and repel people from relying on her too much.
(She does like to smile, though people tend to think otherwise. )
Despite the fact that Budge doesn't like to get into other
peoples' problems, she's quite nosy and ends up putting herself
in their dilemmas.
Despite her looks, she's a very calm girl and enjoys quiet music.

Budge's parents have been traveling overseas for work, so she's
lived with her grandpa since she's been small. They come to
visit, though not often, but it doesn't bother her, since it's
normal for her. She and her grandpa decided to move to Aerie
after frequent construction had taken place in her old town and
was causing inconvenience to most of the villagers.
