Description A few months ago I got the chance to explore an abandoned asylum in CT with some friends. One of the stranger things we came across was this broken period baby carriage. Definatly something that didn't belong among machines and old medical equipment in the mental hospital. Definatly weird.

A few months prior ~wolfrun0 had come across the same carriage while it was still in one piece.

I'm actually sad that I wasn't able to see it in all it's glory. Judging by your photo and the other photos of it I've seen; it seemed to be very beautiful.

Nice photograph I like your colors. The carriage looked really beautiful in the other photo. I don't understand why people feel compelled to destroy things, they seem to all fall apart on their own quite well.

Thank you! This place was just a gold mine of interesting things. I had the same reaction when Wolfrun0 first showed me the image she took. It was beautiful, if not a little creepy! I've never understood people's fascination with being destructive.

I was just looking at project-sleeper's photo of the baby carriage. It was in such good condition then. I would have loved to clean it up and put my (described by others as creepy) big antique flirty eye baby doll in it.

I recently saw his photo of it as well. It was so beautiful. It's a real shame that it got destroyed. There something wonderfully creepy about it.
