It was another hot day in hell. The halls were full of sinners for there were too many people on Earth and the Big Man had set the standards for Heaven too damn high so things were always running on full. It’s little wonder Pandemonica ended up with the epithet of “The Tired Demon”, needing precious caffeine to sustain her sadism.

But the Tired Demon had barely taken a sip of this morning’s coffee before spitting it out.
“Blech, that wasn’t coffee!”, she exclaimed.
And indeed it wasn’t. It was something else that an unknown actor had swapped with her morning’s brew and she began to suspect she knew what it was.
“Tastes like… nanomachines?”
Strange concepts were filling Panemonica’s head. Things like efficiency, employee organisation, profit projection and the secret projects of a mysterious company. One such project she had unwittingly signed up for by taking that sip.

“Nanomachines programmed to remove unnecessary distractions like personality and create perfect workers.” she said, narrating the shareholder speech for the product out loud. And those weren't the only things the nanomachines were removing. Such unneeded inefficiencies as her demonic blood, horns, lethargy, addiction, shoes, height, nose, mouth and limbs were all let go in her reorg and what was left synergised with the new corporate outlook with her head growing large and her body growing slender and compact. All topped off with a head of pink hair and an official Haltmann Works uniform with Business (Battle) Suit integration.
Susie finished her promotion with the customary morning praise of the head office.
“All hail our superiors who endeavour to rout out the inefficiency of our former selves!”
And it was her job to share this bounty with the residents of hell, starting from the top…
