b1k β€” RELUCTANT DRAGON MODIFIED

Description I just finised this and I'm gonna show it to the world. I saw a very nice pencil sketch of this dragon and I thought I should do a picture. I always thought this pose was imperfect so I 'modified' it, curving the belly, making it look more realistic. I know a certain few people who'll like this, wink wink. Enjoy.

Wow! The tail looks great on this how he leans on it. Then again, the fat tail must be coming from the fat gut so the extra fat is good. :3 Love it here too! <3

I remember this cartoon as a child and Disney had such amazing stories back them, but sadly were plagued with preteen shows and cheap cartoons poorly though up cartoons. They had it on DVD somewhere but I can't find it. I love this one man!

Sorry, cliked enter by accedent. I'm 16 but I wanna watch a childrens cartoon. What would the lady at the counter say? Yet this could be my only chance to see it. After much thought I decided to rent it. My stomach felt uneasy as I picked up the video & rented it. She said nothing. I went to the house at home, carefully not to get caught. I took a chance to watch it. The memories came flowing back to my head! The tape was bad but it didn't ruin the VCR. I was too nerous to enjoy it. After school the next day, I watched the video one last time & returned it.
In 2003 I rented again from Extra Vision in Ennis (In Clare) & did loads of sketches. Then in 2005 I got the DVD in London (1st time going). In 2006, I taped a Disney Special called 'The Reluctant Dragon' where a man came up with the idea & brought it to Walt. They had thought of it before him.
The Reluctant Dragon also appears in the ending of a Disney special (it had snow white as well but I don't know what its called), Who Frammed Rogger Rabbit & The House of Mouse.
Anyway, thanks for the complement!

your never too old to watch cartoons in my view. I'm 22 and I may not like all the shows from my childhood, but I have a Disney family so not watching Disney movies will never happen.

Even Winnie the Pooh?

SylxeriaGuardian In reply to b1k [2009-09-20 02:59:17 +0000 UTC]

I'm eighteen and still appreciate the playful innocence of Winnie the Pooh. I may not be as into it as I was when I was five, but still - after a long week of playing Half-Life, Halo, Final Fantasy, watching politics on the news and toiling with my computer, it's nice to fall back in time to where things like that was what was most important to you.

I've never seen the Reluctant Dragon, so I'll probably look it up on YouTube later, but one dragon-themed series that aired in Canada that is currently on Youtube that I liked is Jane's Dragon. Also quite childish, done completely with computers, but still tickled me to no end. How Dragon (Unique huh? Wonder how many times there has been a dragon named 'Dragon'? ) was so skilled with the catapult made me laugh.
