Fun drawing, great technique! Always cool to see you tackle unlikely subject matter (given your usual interests & drawing style).
I have certain friends who have tried to convince me that "Sucker Punch" is a work of genius with all these subtle deep messages... But my personal theory is: Zach Snyder just wanted to make an awesome special effects reel with all these completely different cool-looking scenes... and then he remembered, "Oh yeah, in a movie you have to have boring parts with people talking in between the cool stuff." So he crammed in some painfully boring scenes of chicks talking.
I can be the most patient movie-watcher in the world. I think it is a sin to fast-forward through "the slow parts" of a movie. But holy crap "Sucker Punch" is the exception to the rule.

Thanks, Bryan;
You know, I really enjoy Zack Snyder's films. Really, I do. Ever since that ill-advised remake of "Dawn of the Dead". Loved 300. Loved Watchmen. And I am desperately in love with Carla Gugino. But I have not been able to make it through a complete viewing of Sucker Punch yet. It just seems like such fanboy wet-dream pandering fan-bait stuff, I feel really disingenuous even giving it the time of day. Plenty of awesome eye-candy though, in every way, and I'll agree, it does play like a glorified special effects reel. I guess I"ll have to sit down and give it a fair shake sometime.

My sentiments exactly. I will forever respect Zach Snyder for making Watchmen as good as he made it. That "unfilmable" graphic novel was always very near & dear to my heart and I frickin NEEDED its movie adaptation done RIGHT. And (a few minor quibbles aside) he sure as hell did so.
Which I suppose, more than earned him the right to make a self indulgent vanity project next, even if it I had no use for it myself.

I've never seen that one, though I can say that you captured a dynamic pose with a lot of energy here.

I was not able to finish watching it, personally. I like Zack Snyder films generally, but this one... just... no.
And thanks; the actual composition/pose is what I struggle the most with when Im making one of these. Once I get over that step, the drawing part of it is fun.
