YEEEEAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!! I am SOOO exited!!! It's like living my childhood dream again. I get to drive the Knight Industries Two Thousand (aka K.I.T.T.)!!!!! Well.......virtually.I was looking for a new wallpaper for my PC yesterday and I cam across this website [link] . I downloaded the game mod for Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and I installed it. When the game mod worked I had a choice of all the vehicles featured in the Knight Rider series for the past 29 years including the latest Knight Industries Three Thousand!!!
What I have posted is a screenshot from the game I am playing now. And in it is of course the legendary Knight Industries Two Thousand!!!

Yep. The funny thing is, that when we are driving around with our cars, VERY old and VERY young people (and all the rest of them too) get crazy. This was made in 1982 and people in 2011 start to scream when they see such a car

I was only 1 and a half years old when I first watched the show in South Africa back in 1983. I immediately fell in love with the car and I have been a car buff ever since.
That's the magic of the Pontiac Trans-Am. For its day, the design was clearly ahead of its time. This was the reason why the TV show was a runaway success. I was pretty disappointed when they chose a Ford Mustang a the new K.I.T.T. although its a good looking car it's retro styling and questionable dynamics (transformations/attack mode*eww*) did not appeal to me at all and it looked like any other GT500 on the market. I'm rather glad that the show was axed.

The Shelby looks PORN in Transformers (Barricade) but for the new KR it's horrible. OK, the transformation scenes (animation) was cheap and newer one has weapons and all.. Don't like the overall concept
The feeling from the old series stays on the old series. You can't renew it.

It's timeless. ANd the quality of this car is good. My 1982 Trans Am works fine, now has 65.500 miles on it...

I agree the Shelby Mustang looked really bad-ass as Barricade, especially with that menacing looking nudge bumper.
You must be immensely proud of your Trans-Am. It must be a blast cruising around it on a lonely desert road like Michael Knight does (I always want to do that). It makes the freedom of driving more pleasurable.
It was quite an emotional experience for me when I got the mod for GTA San Andreas. I even went to the lengths of downloading a couple of mp3 songs from the first season of knight Rider and played them in the game in order to rekindle the fond memories. It was kind like playing with my toy K.I.T.T. when I was a kid.
I wish I could own a Pontiac Trans-Am it one day.

Yes it IS a blast, but the best thing is the V8. Most Firebirds here in austria are V6 engines (nothing special) and mine is a 82 T/A

San Andreas Still the best GTA game, it was the most crazy one ( even without mods on PC, or cheats) GTA4 story was dull and too much serious.
Hope they went back to San Andreas style with GTA5.

I am still struggling to find GTA 4 "Lost and the Damned" and "The Ballad of Gay Tony". Those games are very hard to find here in Malawi. hehe

I actually have them, they arent bad, but i wasnt a huge fan myself. The nice thing is they added a couple of new weapons you couldnt get in the regular GTA 4.

But my all-time favorite weapon has to be the Minigun. I recall myself letting Carl go completely postal in the final mission and mow down anyone and anything of the Rival gangs with the minigun, before attacking Big Smoke.

Here is what I tend to use in my slots while playing GTA San Andreas:
Pistol: 9mm or Desert Eagle
Shotgun: Pump-Action or Combat
Submachine Gun: MP5
Rifle: Sniper Rifle (On occasion I use the Country Rifle)
Assault Rifle: M4 Carbine (I use the AK-47 early on and on occasion, but I prefer the M4)
Thrown: Mostly Molotov Cocktails and on occasion Hand Grenades, I rarely use Tear Gas Canisters or Satchel Charges
Heavy Artillery: Minigun (I do use the Flame Thrower, the Rocket Launcher and Heat-Seeking Rocket Launcher in case I need them, but I prefer to use the Minigun, makes me get rid of those pesky police helicopters very easily)
Gifts: Mostly the flowers.
Of course I like to play with the other weapons too, but above slots are my top favorite.

The best way to get a 'More Dakka' feel is to turn the Infinite Ammo cheat on and then just keep firing the Minigun.

Me too. Try to use the cheat where every vehicle you step in becomes invincible, step into a Hunter attack helicopter and then let a level 6 wanted level loose. Now you can deal with Helicopters AND Hydras... XD

LOL! I tend to go all the way but a little strategy also adds to the fun. I always try to find creative ways to finish a mission especially when using cheats.

Cool. I just tend to mow down every Ballas and Vagos member I see during missions with my minigun, saving the other guns for potential drama things I want to enact. XD
