I drew this out of memory so forgive me if the Iron man armour is not as accurate as the comic version. The reason why i drew this is because I wanted to pay homage to my first Iron man comic I read (I lost it years ago), he looked pretty much like this, in red and silver.

I believe this one of the first suits that Tony Stark made after he first created his bulky gun metal prototype which he used to escape from his captors. This suit design was before the red and Gold armour many readers/viewers have come to know today in the marvel universe.
