EDIT: Messed with fullview sizes and stuff, and uploaded the signed image (instead of watermark.) But yeah, ended up leaving full-view at 1600, but now the downloadable one is only 2100 wide. But hey, if you've got the time and/or patience, check out the download one because the details are better (like the shirt stripes)EDIT AGAIN: thumbnail/ fullview not working for some reason, but download does?! (looking into this)

Anyway, this took way longer than it should have, thanks to perfectionist tendencies (even though it STILL isn't perfect, won't ever be...) So here's version 1, cropped and uploaded before I could go and destroy it any further. Version 2 will have more of the edge of the building showing, with even more weird perspective-ness, though the cropped version here is kinda growing on me now.
Haha, wtf this is one perspective that I usually wouldn't ever dare try drawing without reference, but I did anyway. It was that sudden burst of inspiration, and it caused me so much grief later on. Ok. Whatever. Shut up and full view it, even though it's huge. (Fullview is only 1600 wide, actual size is 2884 x 1707 so download for that.)
Technical stuff:
-1000% photoshop CS2 (yeah I know it says 1000) with Mr. Tablet and 10000000 layers of pure hell
-I like the linart better for their faces and what-not.
-Threw a stupid blu-ish layer over everything and applied all sorts of blending modes and adjustments until it vaguely resembled the lighting of a rainy day?
-The rain kinda looks like snow
-I really need to shut up now. Bye

i really like this. I'm trying to learn birds eye, and you did a good job with it. If you could give me any tips, i'd appreciate it. Looks great, and I like the coloring too!

This is quite old now so unfortunately I think there might be a few things off about it, possibly. I...don't really use references and just work from memory, which definitely isn't always the best way to go

Thanks, I was still kind scared that I would screw it up somehow.
lol, tablet lineart IS nice, but this lineart is actually just pen-tool filled-path pieces that are super thin. Except for their noses and mouths, I think those were normal.

It is useful; as for figuring it out, if you play with it once in a while you can get used to it. Eventually. Though it took me a few months before it suddenly 'clicked.' xD
