Personality: Possibly one of the friendliest residents of Pyrite Town, Beth is a sweet, easy-going gal with some big dreams she's looking to make a reality. Of course, when your main source of income is some pretty terrible tips, it might be a bit hard to stay hopeful, but Beth manages to keep herself optimistic. She can be a bit of a ditz at times, and honestly isn't the best with money, usually ending up barely scrounging enough for rent. She has an intense, excitable passion for the sciences behind Pokemon- her favorite topic of study being that of prehistoric Pokemon. She hopes one day to become a Pokemon professor working on fossil restoration.
Brief History: Beth was born and raised in Orre, though she originally lived in the much nicer city of Phenac. She eventually moved out after High School when her parents refused to support her dream of moving to a more populated region to study Pokemon. She ended up renting a room in Pyrite Town, working at a diner on the outskirts to support herself.
It wasn't all bad, as a large amount of archaeologists would come to dig around the area. Bethany would pester them endlessly about their finds when they would visit the diner, excited about every new prospect. Soon enough her interests grew out of just studying Pokemon- onto their prehistoric relatives as well. She set her sights for Rustboro City, Hoenn, and had just begun saving up when something particular happened...
Misc:
- She currently has her hands on a tiny bits of Plume, Jaw, Sail and Dome fossils, which she bought and bribed from passing archaeologists.
- She rarely, rarely ever goes out without make-up.
- Her favorite Pokemon types are Rock, Ground and Steel.
- Because Orre is... a pretty deserted desert, she is a bit behind on the times, as they are usually the last to pick up any news, technology or fashion trends. Mainly because no one remembers Orre exists.

Personality: Being her best friend and first Pokemon, Lou balances out Beth's obliviousness with his cautious nature. He never seems to tire of steering her out of bad situations though, perfectly content he is doing his job as her trusted Pokemon. He can be a bit nosy when meeting people, and quick to snap if he thinks they might be a threat, but otherwise will sit back and remain alert. He only battles when he needs to, being more of a pacifist after having a rough beginning.

Personality: Ariel is a rather cheery little thing. She is very playful and almost as excitable as her trainer. She blows bubbles often, using them as an aid to express emotions. She is very slow, no matter how quick she tries to move her little feet, and is quick to cry if accidentally left behind or if she trips and falls on her face. She doesn't enjoy being mishandled, and will only let a few people touch her branches of coral.

Personality: A feisty Flying-type, Donna unsurprisingly has a bit of an ego, she preens often and is always trying to look her best. She detests being called ugly or a vulture, and makes an effort to act as gentle and elegant as Swanna to impress people. The jury is still out if it's actually working. She enjoys stealing shiny things, a trait she might have picked up from her Honchkrow father. Do not harm her bow.
