Somehow, this reminds me of a stone city near a river, with something like an Eye of God watching over it sadly as the people fought with each other outside their stone houses, staining the river water with their hot blood. (That's just my first impression after reading the title and looking at the drawing.)

I like the different textures used for this drawing, they really add to the atmosphere. Although the colors are rather soft, not too bold or too bright, and the drawing doesn't seem to have much details, they seem to capture the mood (chaos, and hints of sadness) quite well, in a subtle way.
