Have I already expressed how much I adore Tofu? He is such a cheerful and playful character.
I love the colour palette on this one, it really captures the crisp and cold atmosphere.

ty though! i hardly ever use blues when i draw so it was nice to have something that's near enough all blue. i do prefer the colours without the highlihjt layer on though but eh

I think it is nice that you didn't use grey for the huskeys, but a dark green instead. Me personally would never have thought of that, but it just blends in so much nicer.

oh theyre actually a dark blue! with the yellow lighting the highlights just turn more yellow and look green <':
and yeah i get what you mean,you kinda have to stop thinking of colours like 'this thing is this colour' and set out the colour you wnt all the other colours to tend towards first? i knew the huskies were grey but because my base colours were blue, they ended up as a dark blue, then when you add yellow light to that colour it turns green

ahh, yeah!! i've been thinkin i'd try that : D one of my biggest crimes is like. stiff poses hahaha. imo! it happens esp easily when im reffing from actual people because i dont think to stylize the body and so it becomes like...tense looking?

ohh yeah i get what you mean, i try ot not copy too heavily from references because of that? at the most i'll look at them then switch to a blank page to draw on, i get wayy too caught up in details and copying exactly otherwise. my proportions suffer from it but eh i prefer to put priority on making everything look more alive??
it's fine to reference though bc you will learn things more quickly, just don't get too dependent on them?
