Was it a class assignment? Β I'm just curious about what kind of objectives you get in graphic arts. However I realize that you, being an art producing machine, may have just reeled this out as part of your ongoing creative process.

aaaah, no it wasn't, I'm actually taking a break from school at the moment haha. I haven't been drawing much at all lately so I guess it was just a sort of doodle to try and get me back into the groove

I know what you mean. Are you aware of the daily painting movement? Β www.dailypaintworks.com

Daily Painting is huge now. Instead of working on large canvases and trying to get into galleries, they do a small painting 6" x 6" or 5" x 7 etc. every day and sell them online. Β The idea is that doing a small thing every day is easier than motivating yourself to do major works. Also, buyers online are more likely to take a risk on something small than on a big painting. Β They average $100 each. You can work in any medium. Also, once you make a goal to produce daily, it keeps you motivated and your skills keep on improving. Anyway, they are all over Pinterest, Etsy and other place like that. Β

oh wow, that's pretty neat. although, a small painting a day still seems like a tall order for me haha

Really? I remember you doing three 16 x 20 impressionist paintings while the others did one. It was always that way. Besides. If you started posting your stuff for sale on one of those daily sites you probably have a backlog that would last for years before you needed to paint anything new. You could just sell your stuff as small prints and then just sit back and let the money roll in. Β Hey! when you are rich and famous can I tell everyone I taught you even though you were already knew everything I had to teach before you took my classes? Β

That's not a bad idea though, I'll consider it!
