"C'mon Mitch! Just die already!" I cried in exasperation as my iron axe was clashing with his diamond sword. I could win this battle. I had the element of surprise. BajanCanadian turned and sprinted away, desperate for some health regen. But he wasn't going to get it. "Hey, Mitch! Heeeeeeerees JOHNNY!" I tossed my Ender Pearl and caught him, his items exploding everywhere. Mitch respawned as a spectator. I won.
"Arena Deathmatch starts in 10 seconds." I equipped my new diamond sword and waited out the clock as my filled up my hunger bar. I was teleported into a huge stone arena, with a deathly pool of lava looming beneath. To my left, a furry, brown creature was charging toward me with Betty, the diamond axe.
"C'mere, Soleil! Chop chop!"
"Nooo! Jerome! Don't do dis!" I ran away, holding my fishing rod. My strategy was working. I stopped, and juked jerome and ran the other way. When I could smell that stinky Bacca inches behind me, I turned on him, whipping out my sword. He plummeted into the lava, an echoing "No plzzzzzzz!!" in his wake. Soleil had won the Hunger Games.
When the GG's had gone around, it was time to walk home. Taking the gravel road back to the villiage where we all lived, I heard a rustle in the trees. Assuming it was just a wild chicken or something, I kept walking. Notch and Jeb, I'm really tired. Shadows were moving between the trees. Well, it was nighttime. Zombies were probably spawning, but the only zombies in these parts were the Dead Army, headed by Deadlox. Ty made sure they didn't give me trouble. I was fine. The Minecart stop wasn't that far away. I could afford to pay a butter ingot.
The sunset was gorgeous, dipping below the mountains and trees, turning the sky a lovely shade of rose. I could see Jordan, Danny, and Max's house lit up in the distance between two mountains. They were probably turning in for the night after today's Hunger Games. Their reed farm glowed in the dying sunlight, and all the chickens and cows were peacfully asleep.
I never got to the Minecart stop. One of the shadows whizzed by my face and stopped behind me. Something wet and oderless, but not water, was slapped on my face. The forest started swirling. I couldn't stand. What were those in the corner of my eye? Oh, look, flying cows. What? There were no alligators in Minecraft! One of the alligators opened its big jaws and ran towards my face. I cringed and slumped into a stranger's arms. I was unconscious before I could scream for help.
